VIRIDIS ENERGIA is an integrated renewable energy operator, capable of developing and managing, directly and with the support of its strategic partners, all the main stages of the industrial value chain.
Development of new plants
Selection of suitable sites
Through a structured scouting and verification process, we identify the best locations to install our renewable energy plants and the possibility of connecting them to the Local Authority’s electricity grid. A range of factors and constraints are carefully assessed, leading to the identification of the best available site for the project.
Authorisation
We submit to the relevant authorities the application for authorisation and any requests for opinions for the construction and subsequent operation of the renewable energy plant. We develop, with the support of external partners and consultants, the final project required for the authorisation phase.
Construction
We develop the executive design on the basis of the authorisation title and any prescriptions or requests for changes. We contract the turnkey construction or EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) formula and constantly supervise the entire construction phase in order to monitor and guarantee the quality, compliance with deadlines and costs.
Energy sales and PPAs
We sell the energy produced by our plants on the electricity market through multi-year Power Purchase Agreements with leading energy traders.

Due Diligence
The highly professional and multidisciplinary team is able to assess investment initiatives in advance, minimising risk and ensuring profitability.
Project finance
We structure a project financing operation with leading banks following the logic of Project Finance on a non-recourse basis and ensure constant compliance with the covenants provided for in the financing contract as well as the production of reports and analyses on the progress of the project.
Revamping & Repowering
We are able to develop investment projects based on the replacement of technologies, with the aim of maximising economic yield and reducing operating costs; even with the increase of installed power.
Operation e Maintenance
Commissioning
We scrupulously supervise the testing and commissioning phases, verifying compliance with the performance and technical characteristics contractually envisaged.
Monitoring
We monitor photovoltaic installations 24/7 from our control room and supervise all routine and extraordinary activities carried out by the operators.
Report
We develop performance reports on a monthly and annual basis for each site under management, ensuring the energy and economic return on investment.
HSE
We ensure compliance with rules, regulations and legislation through operational procedures that ensure maximum safety of people and the environment.
